Changin' Scotland

Scottish launch of 'Kidland'
Friday 29th April, 6.30pm, WordPower Books, Edinburgh
For an antidote to the Royal Wedding, come to the Scottish launch of my debut poetry collection 'Kidland', a collection of verse about ravens, pine forests, horned gods, English mythology, the end of the world, trees, rape, death, whisky and the Nevada desert. More details here soon.

'The sole business of poetry'
Friday 6th May 2011, 4pm. Dartington Hall, Devon
An exploration of the poetry of ecology: a talk and readings from poets including Robinson Jeffers, W. S. Merwin, Mary Oliver, Wordsworth and Ted Hughes. Including readings from my debut poetry collection 'Kidland', published in April. Part of the Tagore Festival 2011.

English launch of 'Kidland'

The English launch of my debut poetry collection. I'll be reading at a multinational event with American poet Philip Fried and Irish writer Alan Jude Moore, all from the Salmon stable. More details here soon.

Uncivilisation 2011: the second Dark Mountain Festival
Friday 19th - Sunday 21st August 2011. Sustainability Centre, Hampshire
Following on from last year's successful debut, the Dark Mountain Project is taking its annual festival to Hampshire this year. We promise a wild weekend, in more ways than one. More details on the Dark Mountain site. Tickets go on sale 4th April.
